The helpful friendly staff at the Land Between The Lakes South Welcome Station are great. They cheerfully explained to me all the great things to do and see in the area. There were some things I would have certainly missed, so I was great full for their recommendations. Bought a couple of souvenirs and had fun watching the hummingbirds.

About what you'd expect. Get there before 5 pm if you want to do anything but check in game, or you'll have to go to kne of the other welcome stations for a backcountry pass, etc.
