This was our second trip to Dover and both times we stayed at the Sunset Inn. Yes, its a little outdated and its not a 5 star hotel, but we found it clean, had wifi a refrigerator and pet friendly. I enjoyed sitting outside the room via the sliding glass doors. Very reasonable prices.
A shower, bed and hillside going down to the road from each rooms patio area. Nice people, cold AC, hot water in the shower and enough parking for a full size truck with a gooseneck trailer.

Made arrangements for visiting family to stay here. They had stayed at several motels during their travels and said they liked the Sunset the best. It was clean and they had a patio with wooden outdoor chairs so they could sit and look out at a beautiful view of lake Barkley. They said the owners were very nice and they were even able to keep their little dog at no extra charge. It was also the least expensive. But don't lose your key. A replacement will cost you $25! Great motel.
